Time is Gavin Newsom’s friend when it comes to the recall

“If we preserve our workforce, California’s businesses will have the labor to recover, and that’s important for the world’s fifth-largest economy,” said Sonja Diaz, one of 70 Latino leaders who wrote a letter to Newsom asking for a more equitable distribution policy. “The better California does in saving lives and opening schools, the higher the public opinion will be for Democratic public officials.”
